In the field of sports the college has had excellent tradition.The ultimate aim of sports is the all round development of a personality. It is the activity that is governed by a set of rules and competitiveness. It commonly refers to activities where the outcome (winning and losing) is primarily determined by the physical capabilities and playing skills of competitors. The College Sports Council accomplishes the objectives and its educational role in promoting sports activities.The main purpose of the colleges sports establishment is to initiate, execute, coordinate , supervise and control the sports activities and other such programmes that promote general and specific interest in sports awareness in the college.

The college provides infrastructural facilities for different sports like well maintained multigym, athletics track and well maintained ground for field events, basketball court, badminton court, netball court, pool table, table tennis , kabaddi and volleyball courts, weightlifting & powerlifting set etc.

Under the dynamic leadership of Chairman, sports council Prof. G. K. Singh and due to the hard work and firm determination of players, Sports secretary Prof. Seemant Kumar Dubey and other members of sports council, our college is achieving its set goal. Students are encouraged to participate in the numerous intramural and extramural sporting activities which the department schedules for them. Our sports teams are regularly involving in AIU sports & games with high performance .
