Activities (2018-19)

The anniversary was celebrated on 01 February 2019. On this occasion, the meritorious students of each class were rewarded and the 22nd issue of the college magazine 'Ritambhara' was released.

On 26-01-2019, 'Republic Day' function was celebrated in the college with great enthusiasm. On this occasion, the winners of various competitions organized at the college level were awarded.

A seminar was organized on 23-01-2019 on the occasion of birth anniversary of great freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

The 'Annual Sports Competition' was organized in the college on 18 and 19 January 2019, in which many students participated enthusiastically.

On 17-09-2018, a six-day 'Scout and Guide Camp' was organized in the college from 03-12-2018 to 08-12-2018, in which B. Ed. Trainees learned various methods of personality and social development and also took out a public awareness rally to eradicate various social evils like female foeticide, dowry death, illiteracy etc.

A general knowledge competition was organized by the Student Welfare Committee on 20-11-2018, in which about 450 students participated. A debate competition was organized on 24-12-2018 on the topic Social media is harmful for the society.

Sanskrit language workshop was organized in Sanskrit department from 13-11-2018 to 17-11-2018 in which various college students learned the finer points of Sanskrit language.

A discussion seminar was organized on the personality and works of first Education Minister Mohd. Abul Kalam.

Language workshop cum guest lecture on 02-11-2018 at B.Ed. Organized in the Dept. Professor Ramesh Prasad Pathak of Lal Bahadur Shastri Sanskrit Vidyapeeth, Delhi, imparted Hindi and Sanskrit language training as a guest lecturer.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary was celebrated as National Integrity Day on 31 October 2018. On this occasion, 'Run for Unity' and a discussion on the personality and work of Sardar Patel were organized.

A seminar on Maharishi Balmaki Jayanti was organized in the college on 20-10-2018.

On 06-07 October 2018, an inter-college basketball (men's and women's) competition was organized through which the men's and women's basketball teams of the university were selected. Ravi Giri was selected in the men's team from the college and Kumari Priyanka in the women's team of the university.

Organized voter awareness program on 25-09-2018 in the dignified presence of Deputy Collector, Anupshahar.

On 17.09.2018 under Govt. direction, Vishwakarma Jayanti was celebrated with enthusiasm.

The students of the NCC unit and NSS were given training throughout the year. Many N.C.C. students have Participated in special camps to get 'B' and 'C' certificates. On 12-09-2018 and 25-09-2018 N.C.C. The cadets took out a rally under "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" to create awareness among the general public and planted trees. On 29-09-2018 Surgical Strike Day was celebrated by NCC Cadets and a poster making competition was organized. On 06-12-2018. N.C.C. cadets cleaned the Ganga Ghats and inspired the general public for cleanliness.

Investment Awareness and Mutual Funds as on 30 August 2018 A guest lecture was organized on the topic.

Throughout the year, the birth anniversary of many legends and days of national importance like "National Sports Day", "National Teacher's Day", "National Hindi Day", "National Education Day", "National Mathematics Day", and “National Youth Day" are celebrated in the college. Various programs were organized and celebrated on “National Voters Day”.

Independence Day on 15 August 2018 and Gandhi Jayanti on 02 October 2018 were celebrated enthusiastically in the college as national festivals.

On 10 August 2018, A Kavi Sammelan sponsored by Sahitya Sanchatena Manch was organized in the college.

On 21-06-2018, on the International Day of Yoga, students, teachers and employees were given training in yoga practice.

National Conference on “Quality Enhancement in Higher Education: Contemporary Issues” on 24 February 2018 at the college. The seminar was organized successfully.

Gymnasium, main gate and toilets for security personnel were constructed by Jaiprakash Seva Sansthan in the college along with renovation of principal's room and cafeteria.

Mr. Laxman Singh, selected by the Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Service Commission, Prayagraj, took charge as Assistant Professor in Sanskrit Department on 24-09-2018.

Under the aegis of “Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)”, continuous efforts are being made to improve the quality of teaching and non-teaching activities.
