Activities (2020-21)

Three one-day camps of the National Service Planning Unit were organized on 21, 23, 25 January 2021 and a seven- day camp for volunteers was organized by the National Service Planning Unit from 26- 02.2021 to 04.03.2021.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti was celebrated with pomp on 19.02.2021.

The annual sports competition was organized on 12 February 2021

On 26 January 2021, the Republic Day celebrations were celebrated with pomp.

National Voters Day was organized on 25 January 2021.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's birthday was celebrated as Parakram Diwas on 23 January 2021.

On 22 January 2021, a discussion was organized on the subject of National Education Policy 2020.

Swami Vivekananda's birthday was celebrated as Youth Day on January 12, 2021.

General Knowledge Competition was organized on 21.12.2021. In which around 800 students participated.

On 07 December 2020, inspired by the ambitious scheme 'Digital Library' of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Laxman Singh, Head of the Sanskrit Department of the college, gave the entire course of Sanskrit of Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut through video lectures.Uploaded in digital form by setting up a YouTube channel called ccsusanskrit.

Voter awareness program was organized on 4 December 2020 which was presided over by Deputy Collector Anupshahar Padam Singh.

Constitution Day was celebrated on 26th November 2020, in which the principal taught NCC cadets and other students about the constitution. Administered an oath to work faithfully towards the values and ideals.

The Foundation Day of National Cadet Corps was celebrated on 22.11.2020.

Online seminar on National Education Policy was organized by the National Cadet Core unit of the college on 19.11.2020.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birthday was celebrated as National Integration Day in the college on 31.10.2020.

Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti by Uttar Pradesh Sanskrit Sansthan Lucknow on 28th October 2020, Shri Laxman Singh, Head of Sanskrit Department Discharged the responsibility of the provincial coordinator in the Amarkosh memorization competition organized on the occasion.

Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Education on the subject of 'Vocational Education Nai Talim' in the Education Department of the College on 23 October 2020 One day online workshop was organized under the aegis of the Council.

National Teacher's Day was celebrated with enthusiasm on 05.09.2020. On this occasion, all the college teachers were felicitated by the management committee.

The birth anniversaries of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri were celebrated on 02.10.2020.

On 19.10.2020, the girl students of the college were given self-defense training under Mission Shakti. Uttar Pradesh Sanskrit Sansthan Lucknow and Department of Sanskrit, Durga Prasad Baljit Singh Post Graduate College, Anupshahar.

A national webinar was organized on 22.10.2020 under the aegis of "National Education Policy 2020: An Overview". More than 600 participants participated in this national level webinar.

On 15 August 2020, Independence Day celebrations were celebrated with pomp. Date 29.08.2020 was celebrated as National Deworming Day and National Sports Day.

On date 17.07.2020, the committee formed from the government level, all the professors serving under the funded scheme of the college Physical verification of service related records was done and all were found correct.

On 13-07-2020 in Government College Jahangirabad, Bulandshahar Uttar Pradesh For uploading the data of teachers and non-teaching staff to Manav Sampada Portal, college professor Laxman Singh received training as data verification officer, assistant clerk Laxman Singh as data entry and laboratory assistant Sunil Kumar as data entry assistant.

On July 5, 2020, the work of large tree plantation as directed by the government was completed and the set target was achieved.

Antidotes were distributed by the NCC unit on the occasion of World Environment Day on 5th June 2020, and tree plantation was done by the Cadets.

From 01.06.2020 to 05.06.2020 and from 05.07.2020 to 11.07.2020, all the papers given by the Sanskrit Department of the college Indian Sanskrit quiz competitions were organized through online medium. 1217 in first quiz and 864 in second quiz The participants participated enthusiastically.

Regarding the measures related to the work of corona infection, the NCC and NSS units of the college played an active role in the campaign to generate awareness among the common people and thousands of masks and sanitizers were distributed.

'Aarogya Setu' and 'Ayush Kavach' were downloaded by most of the students, teachers, non-teaching staff of the college and common people were also motivated for this work.

The year 2000 has been painful for all of us due to the critical circumstances arising out of the Corona crisis. Still, following all the instructions directed by the government, various activities were conducted. All the courses conducted in the college during lockdown were completed by conducting online classes for the prescribed courses so that e-contents were prepared by the college which was uploaded on the college website www.dpbscollege.in.

It is notable in the context of the above that B.Ed. student Km. Mansi Garg secured first position in Ch. Charan Singh University The name of the college has been made proud by getting the position. Apart from this, all the students of BEd passed with first division in both the Practical & Theoretical examinations of session 2018-20, which is a record in itself. This excellent result is due to the the hard work of the teachers, is supported by a suitable educational environment and management committee.
